Staff Training

Please note the surgery will close for Staff Training from 12noon to 6pm on Thursday 14th October 2010.  The out of hours service will operate between these times.

Summary Care Records

The NHS is changing the way it stores and manages your health records and is introducing Summary Care Records as part of the NHS Care Records Service. This is to improve the safety and quality of patient care, and it will give healthcare staff faster, easier access to reliable information about you to help with your treatment.
Today, all the places where you receive care keep records about you. They can usually only share information from your records by letter, e-mail, fax or phone. At times, this can be slow. Now there will be quicker ways to get important information to NHS staff treating you, including in an emergency.

Exercise Referral

Molescroft Surgery is the pilot site for a new computerised booking system for Exercise Referral in conjunction with ERYCC.

Patients can now be referred electronically to Beverley Leisure Centre for 20 sessions of exercise which will last 10 weeks.  The 10 week couse is not free but is heavily subsidised.
Using the new computer system we should be able to book your first   appointment with a personal trainer at the Beverley Leisure Centre before you leave the surgery.

Please note patients must meet certain criteria to be eligable for Exercise Referral.

Please ask Practice Nurse or John Ledger, Practice Manager for further details.
